Luoshan National Forest Park lies in the northeast of Zhaoyuan¡ª¡°Gold Capital in China ¡± about 8 kilometers far from the urban districts, not only well-known by abounding with gold in this place, but also has attracted numerous regional visitors with the beautiful natural scene and abundant historical culture traces. Luoshan National Forest Park is the national-level Forest Park that set up with the approval of Ministry of Forestry in 1992, covering more than 10000 mu of the whole area. The coverage rate of fo rest there reaches more than 80% with more than 1000 kinds of resources of plant and more than 20 kings of wild animal resource. In the scenic spot the peaks rising one upon another ,the cliffside waterfalls throw up jades, old trees reach to the sky, and the strange stones stand in great numbers, and it is really one of the wonderful places of spending holidays during tourism and leisure in spring, summer, autumn or winter. Lofty Luoshan, about her graceful legend, has spread for several thousand years. The highest peak in mountain range of Luoshan is 759 meters above sea level, tall and straight and brand. Standing on the top of Luoshan, you could see thousand li  of flat farmland on the south, and you could see the vast Bohai Sea on the north. The spots in Luoshan are magical. There are ridge cliffs like superb craftsmanship, waterfalls like picture and high ¡°Swing Post¡± that is so high that even the birds don¡¯t dare to climb. There are also natural marvelous spectacles such as ¡°Gua Luo Jue¡±, ¡°Lotus Flower Basin¡±, ¡°Yi Xian Tian¡±, ¡°Shen Tian Clock¡±, ¡°Hawk's Preview¡±, and ¡°Bajie is born¡±.
It was honored with the title of ¡°National Forest Park¡± for its good ecological environment in 1992, and named as ¡°National AA Level Scenic Spot of Tourism¡± by the Ministry of Forestry in 2001.
